my trick was a bust; i've been awake all night again. just goes to show that you shouldn't believe everything you read on that computer of yours. i don't know what's gotten into me this week, but it better get out.
the good news is i was able to put that misplaced awake time to good use finishing writing a very important song for the new album. did i mention there's going to be a second one? here's half a line from it: "if you were thinking about walking the plank"... you'll get the rest later. and oh yea, the album is pirate themed. sorry!

my great grandpa would do a jigsaw puzzle every day, glue it together, and then put it on his wall. i think he was just bored, but i think that sort of thing must run in our blood because i can't stop trying to put the pieces of my brain together in a concise and presentable way. one day someone's gonna be like, "damn.. that guy's got one awfully concise and presentable brain"

let me let you in on a little cyclothymic trick: if you find yourself with a terrible sleep schedule (say.. 4am-3pm) and you're trying to get back on track, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT try to stay up all night from 3pm today to 10pm the next day. it's not going to work and you're gonna fuck it even more by falling asleep on accident at 11am. instead, you're gonna want to wake up at 3pm, eat a sandwich or something, and then immediately hit the bricks again. if you wake up at any point before about 3am, just roll back over. then, when you wake up at 3am, it's going to be a lot easier to power through the whole upcoming day and go to sleep at a normal time again.
of course, this means you need to do this on a day off, because you're going to sleep for a genuine full 24 hours. and your body and bones are going to hurt a lot, because you're not supposed to sleep for a genuine full 24 hours. but if you're like me and you start to lose your mind if you aren't awake in the morning, you just might find it's your only choice. don't thank me.

hey y'all, vivi here! playing bass ain't all i got up my sleeve…
recently (this week) bought ground turkey from the jewel. i have yet to cook it but have frozen and thawed it once and have put it in the freezer to freeze again. might also just cook now and eat later?? (ФωФ)
did some recon and it seems you're supposed to cook it like within a couple days?? so this might get me good down the line but I'm taking my chances for the love of the sauce…
and also because milo's cookin up some slop (actual name) tonight. d(⌒ー⌒)!
anyways,, it's raining and the weather is cool despite it being a late day in june.
i still have much to do in prep for a vend i've got coming up for against da fence and also have some practicing to do for the EP we bout to record.. but before any and all of that i gotta wash my hair so i can be a beautiful fairy again. day in the life huh? (*^-^)ヘ＿/

Website Additions
We've made some changes to the website and it's functions.
1. The main page is now dedicated to news and there is a new seperate section for blog posts, in order to make band news more easily accessible right away (and for us to write a little more personally on the blogs).
2. There's a new fun bios section and a handful of secrets throughout the whole website for you to find!
3. We've been added to the Ypsilanti Pop Syndicate webring, which you can find to the left of these posts. It's full of the websites of other really awesome bands and artists that you should definitely take some time to check out! We also have a mailing list, which is right above it.
We're going to continue to work to make this website more all encompassing in order to make social media pages less of a necessity for those who are disconnecting from them. It's always better to get your info straight from the tap as opposed to filtered through algorithms and engagement garbage.

a casualty but i'm upfront
this is the new blog page!! i wanted to seperate it into news and blog so we can post more often about nonsense without it clogging up the frontpage and making the actual news harder to find (which will be important soon..). the other two also have access to this page, so if they feel so inclined they can post too!
